SILENT ICE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT SPREADS HOLIDAY CHEER; SUPPORTS FOUR LOCAL ORGAINZATIONS OVER THE HOLIDAYS
In the true spirit of the holidays and with the Christmas break fast approaching, Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment (SISE) is pleased to announce they have made four donations to organizations in need this year.
SISE is proud to assist the following organizations with funding this holiday season:
ALBERTA SPCA (ALBERTASPCA.ORG) - $5000.00
The Alberta Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Alberta SPCA) is a registered charity dedicated to the welfare of animals. They encourage the humane treatment of animals through enforcement of animal protection legislation and through education programs throughout Alberta.
WINHOUSE (WINHOUSE.ORG) - $5000.00
WIN House has one purpose: to give victims the hope and help they need to overcome gender-based abuse. We’re here when you need us most. We always have been, and we always will be.
Throughout Edmonton and area for over five decades, we’ve given women and children of all ages and cultures a safe place to flee. From passionate professionals and volunteers to dedicated donors and champions of the cause, WIN House is committed to providing safety, support, relief, and resources for abuse victims.
PARKLAND FOOD BANK (PARKLANDFOODBANK.ORG) - $5000.00
The Parkland Food Bank exists to address the needs of hunger in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County, primarily by providing food hampers to those in need.
STRATHCONA FOOD BANK (STRATHCONAFOODBANK.CA) - $5000.00
The Strathcona Food Bank is a non-profit organization providing food to families in need in Sherwood Park and rural Strathcona County. It has been in operation since 1983.
In addition to these donations, SISE would like to encourage others to donate if possible and help others in need this year.
